Can you remember a time when life felt easier?
When you did not feel so exhausted or disconnected from your body? When you felt more open to trying new things and meeting new people? Or maybe you even felt like there was time to actually take a break and be still?
Let’s work together to get you back to that grounded place and help you feel more in control of the way your life is going.
My name is Nicole Brown and I help people like you get back a sense of calm and control in a life that might feel chaotic and overwhelming.
I believe therapy is more than just a place to build coping strategies and change behaviors. I believe it is a space where you have the unique experience to be listened to, cared for, and supported as you take steps towards change. Change, inherently, can feel scary and uncomfortable, and that’s okay! That is where I can help.
I value learning about my clients and meeting them where they are at in their process of healing. No one person is the same, and so our work will be individualized to meet your needs and understand your background to ensure you feel seen and heard. We will utilize skills from EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, ACT and attachment therapy to build a holistic understanding of you and determine your next best steps for growth.
If this is your first time searching for therapy, welcome! I am passionate about working with people who are new to this process and look forward to helping you grow a sense of self and start building the life you want to live.
I am dedicated to helping my clients quiet the chaos and build a life filled with authenticity and autonomy.
My training in EMDR and attachment therapy means that I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing from trauma and harmful relationships. My background as a yoga practitioner and teacher help me deepen our language and skill set for mind-body connection work.
I have dedicated my career to helping individuals who feel helpless and powerless to feel grounded and confident once again. I am passionate about helping women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community find their voices and feel seen.
I know it can feel scary and overwhelming to begin the process of healing. Together, we will set the pace of our work to what you need it to be. We are on no one’s timeline but your own, and together we will help you get back in control of a life that might feel uncontrollable.
